FAQ
Questions, answered.
The most common questions we hear from founders, finance leaders and nonprofit boards - answered in plain English.
What does Efficacité KPO do?
Efficacité KPO is an Atlanta-based professional services firm that combines business consulting (Efficacité Globale) with accounting and tax advisory (Efficacité CPA & Tax Advisory). We serve entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized businesses and nonprofits across the United States.
Where are you located and who do you serve?
Our office is at 3372 Peachtree Rd, Suite 115, Atlanta, GA 30326. We work with clients across the U.S. - virtually for most engagements, and in person across the Atlanta metro and the broader Southeast.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. New clients can book a free 30-minute discovery call through our Calendly link to discuss their situation. There is no obligation and no sales pitch - we'll tell you whether we're a good fit.
What is the difference between a CPA and a bookkeeper?
A bookkeeper records transactions and reconciles accounts. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a licensed professional who can sign tax returns, represent you before the IRS, perform attest work, and provide strategic tax and financial advice. Efficacité has both - bookkeepers handle the day-to-day, CPAs handle planning, tax and complex matters.
How much do your services cost?
Most engagements are scoped at a fixed monthly fee so there are no billing surprises. Bookkeeping and monthly close typically starts around $500/month for very small businesses; outsourced CFO and consulting engagements are priced based on scope. We share a written proposal after the discovery call.
Can you handle multi-state tax filings?
Yes. We routinely file federal, state and multi-state returns for clients with employees, contractors or sales nexus in multiple U.S. states.
Do you work with nonprofits and 501(c)(3) organizations?
Yes - nonprofits are a core practice area. We handle Form 990 series filings, state charitable registrations, grant accounting, restricted funds, audit-readiness and board reporting.
What is a fractional CFO and do I need one?
A fractional CFO is a senior finance leader who works with your company part-time - often a few days per month - at a fraction of a full-time hire. You likely need one when monthly results arrive late, you're raising capital, cash flow keeps surprising you, or gross margin has slipped and nobody can explain why.
Can you help if I'm already behind on bookkeeping or taxes?
Yes. Clean-up and catch-up work is one of the most common ways new clients start with us. We bring your books current, file missing returns and put a clean monthly process in place going forward.
How do I get started?
Book a 30-minute discovery call via Calendly, email info@efficacitekpo.com or call +1 (470) 701-0636. After a short conversation we'll send a written scope and fixed-fee proposal.
